Third annual Lockhart River Gala Auction at the Brisbane Club. Exclusive art exhibition featuring artworks from Lochart River Arts Centre Indigenous artists. Proceeds from auction raised paid off artworks from each artist and incremental raised funds was donated to Puuya Foundation. Auction organizer Paul Simshauser, General Manager Infigin Energy Australia and Enoch Perazim CEO Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation

Solo Exhibitio: Sue Pascoe at KickArts Contemporary Gallery Cairns Shop: 1 to 30 April 2017

Sue Pascoe is a senior Kukuya'au women and painter at the Lockhart River Arts Centre. Her work features the landscape surrounding Lockhart River documenting the natural elements of this region. Her work is featured in several national collections including the National Gallery of Victoria, and the University of Queensland.

Irene Namok is a senior painter at Lockhart River Arts Centre and she comes from the Kanthanampu language group. An impressive solo exhibition featuring her contemporary abstract style and her heart connection to her Country, environmental events and her gentle emotions of passion, respect and admiration of her Indigenous Australian identity in a modern time.
