Contemporary Dance Development
The Lockhart River Arts Centre has a firm and positive background in supporting the Kawadjii-Wimpa dance group through contemporary dance and collaborative programs with external stakeholders. In 2017, we have identified new program opportunities to develop our engagement in this critical community link activity.

Community Public Art Project
Lockhart River Arts Centre has successfully implemented key community based art projects in the last 5 years. Through Arts Queensland’s IRADF Funding program, The Art Centre has successfully undertaken the Electric Power Pole Art Project, Community Mural Projects and Secondary Student art class programs.
