Lockhart River Arts Centre is now connected to the National Broadband Network (NBN) satellite service. The installation was completed between 25 and 26 April 2018. The installation of the new service has improved the Art Centre's capacity to communicate, access and engage with representative commercial galleries, new and existing customers, state and federal funding agencies and all operational aspects both domestically and internationally. The service is faster, more reliable and will be fully operational all year round including the annual wet season period from December to April.
