We are pleased to announce details of our first exhibition for 2018 at Art Mob Aboriginal Fine Art Gallery in Hobart Tasmania. The exhibition features a selection of high quality recent paintings by Lockhart River Ladies (artists) from the Lockhart River Arts Centre. Art Mob Fine Art Gallery commenced exhibiting artworks from Lockhart River in last quarter of 2015. Art Mob Gallery previously hosted successful Lockhart River group exhibitions in January 2016, January 2017, June 2017. In addition to the group exhibitions, Art Mob has also included Lockhart River artists in their Top 20 artist sales and summer sales during each calender period from 2015 to 2018.
In the new exhibition for 2018, the exhibition features works by women artists detailing intimate stories of connection to Country, Land and Sea. The exhibition will be launched on Friday 12 January 2018 at 6pm at the Gallery at 29 Hunter St, Hobart Tasmania 7000. Attending the exhibition opening will be artists Mama Irene Namok, Mama Margery Accoom and Corporation Manager, Enoch Perazim.
