Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation receives current funding from the Australian Government through the Department of Communications and the Arts under the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support (IVAIS) program.

The Corporation also receives current funding from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland's Backing Indigenous Arts initiative (BIA) program and the Regional Arts Development Fund (IRADF).

America here we come! At the time this article was written, a strong team from Lockhart River Arts Centre prepares to fly on Tuesday 17 October 2017 to Houston Texas in the United States of America for an exclusive Lockhart River Arts Centre group exhibition at Booker-Lowe Gallery.

Discussions for the exhibition commenced in early January 2016 between Corporation Manager Enoch Perazim and Nana Booker from Booker Lowe Gallery. After working through a range of key performance indicators, Nana Booker agreed to invite and host the exclusive group exhibition.

Identifying existing and new gallery opportinties through geographic approach in all states and territories within Australia and Internationally requires market sensitivity, mutual agreeements and zero cross territorial activity overlap.
