Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation receives current funding from the Australian Government through the Department of Communications and the Arts under the Indigenous Visual Arts Industry Support (IVAIS) program.

The Corporation also receives current funding from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland's Backing Indigenous Arts initiative (BIA) program and the Regional Arts Development Fund (IRADF).

Business Hours: March 2024 to December 2024: Monday - Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am-3pm, Saturday 9am-12pm, Sunday by appointment.

The board of directors and CEO have appointed FNQ Accounting as the new chartered accountants for Lockhart River Arts Indigenous Corporation effective Tuesday 5 March 2024. The previous bookkeeper from April 2023 to March 2024 Julianne of First Class Accounts Port Douglas will finish off on 31 March 2024 as she closes her bookkeeping business to take on new challenge. The Corporation also engaged Retinue Accounting between December 2023 to March 2024 to assist First Class Bookkeeping with Corporation's financials.

Lockhart River Arts Centre is pleased to announce it's participation at the 2024 Sydney National Indigenous Art Fair from 29th June 2024 to 30th June 2024. The venue will be at Gadigal Land Overseas Passenger Terminal at 130 Argyle Street, The Rocks, New South Wales, Australia. Entry Fee is $2.50 per person to support Indigenous artists at the Art Fair.
